And while these job sites were seemingly insignificant at a very young age, they were quietly laying the groundwork for what would become an obsession with detail, design and execution. It was then in 2012 that Dustin decided to pack up and move to Austin, only to find himself with a construction opportunity at a local, beloved retailer, Stag Provisions. As life would have it, it was this job that almost immediately brought Dustin straight back home to California, to build Stag's second ever location on Abbot Kinney in Venice Beach. Slightly panicked and very green to the industry, Dustin called his father for help. Little did they both know, that summer would alter the course of Dustin's future, and lead him to form Red Tail 7 years later.
